Volunteering

The SPCA could not function without the help of the fantastic volunteers who donate their time. If you are ready to put your hand up to help, we have a volunteer option to suit you.

If you live in Fiji and wish to volunteer just complete and submit the online form. 

International volunteers, particularly qualified and registrable veterinarians, are also welcomed. Please see the information below.

SPCA Office is open Mon-Sat: 8am - 4.30pm    

The office is closed on Sunday except for appointments pre-arranged for adoptions and emergency visits.

Veterinary consultations and surgery are by appointment and we appreciate no walk-ins unless an absolute emergency.  Non-emergency walk-ins may require a long wait time and incur a walk-in fee.

If you do not reach someone, then send a text message, which allows front office staff to field calls as efficiently as possible.

For after hours emergencies only, send a TEXT to 9922634

After hours means: Mon-Sat from 6pm to 10pm and on Sundays from 8am to 10pm. This phone is not monitored outside these hours.

While we try to maintain strict office hours unforeseen circumstances sometimes dictate earlier or later opening and closing - please always check our social media for updates.
