About the Event
The Tim Howick-Smith 1000 Paws Walk celebrates the life of a man whose passion for ending cruelty to animals and his love for dogs translated to an enduring support for the work carried out by the SPCA, until he was called to rest in January, 2020.
The Tim Howick-Smith 1000 Paws Walk, a festival celebrating all dogs owned and unowned, is essentially a walk-a-thon – but with your dogs! The event will be held at Suva's Albert Park Carpark on Sunday 28th April. Join us with your pets for a day of food, face painting, activities and exhibits and of course, walking with your dog! A pet show and dog obedience demonstrations and workshops are also on the programme.

For everyone's safety all dog owners must register to participate and meet the criteria outlined in the form. The event is open to spectators and well-wishers.

You can also participate virtually with your dog or cat!

Don't have a dog? Don't worry! Come down and meet some of our shelter pets! Join in the walk and support this great cause. All money raised from from the event goes towards the SPCA Community Partnership Programme supporting those supporting street animals.
